Thank you Swift caravans for ignoring the dealer trying to get you to authorise repairs to our ONE year old van, caused by you having rubbish build quality so we cannot complete the deal on our new van
So mad at the moment its unbelievable customer service and I will not be letting this drop

It's no good getting in touch with Swift if you are dealing with the problem through your dealer. They are the people you bought the van off and they are the people to organise putting it right.
Push your dealer harder to get it organised.Post last edited on 04/05/2013 12:04:28 ------------- John

johnks, is absolutely right.
Can't understand why you are waiting for a reply from Swift-Talk to join ?
When you eventually get on Swift-Talk and put your case , one of the very helpful Swift guys will advise you.
Also most of the component parts on a Swift also monitor the forum to assist eg Sargent etc.
Hope it all works out for you.

Just to answer a couple of questions, the dealer we are buying the new van off is not the same as we bought the last one and I have no complaints about them they are being really helpful and pushing swift.
They are not a swift dealer (we are changing from a sterling to a lunar) so they will not complete the deal until they have confirmation from swift that they will pay for the repairs under warranty which is completely understsndable, they are happy to complete as soon as they hear from swift.
The main gripe I have is that swift have known about this problem with 2011 vans for ages and haven't done a recall or at least written to owners to make them aware

I think that the problem you have is that they are not a Swift dealer and I would suspect Swift would want one of their own dealers to do the job.------------- John

Here we go again!!! There should be no need for major repairs on a twelve month old caravan.
Not fit for purpose!!!
The manufacturers should be made accountable for faulty workmanship and bad build quality.
The dealers quite often have their hands tied.
The law should change.
