My circumstances have changed somewhat and I am seeking storage in West Sussex.
The cheapest I can find is £500 a year with no facilities at all other than hard standing.
Is this the norm? Am I being unreasonable to expect something a little better/cheaper? My van is only worth £2000 anyway.

Than you for the CASSOA suggestion but I have already gone through that. The nearest to me is full. The next nearest is £546 per annum and 20 miles away.
There is one reasonably close but is not CASSOA registered and is simply a hardstanding behind a locked gate with CCTV.£125 for 3 months, no facilities at all. :(
