hi can any one advise me as to whats wrong with my caravan ace prestige 55 as the fridge wont work on gas however it works fine on 240 volts

Have you got the caravan level both ways? Some fridges can be a bit temperamental operated on gas if they are not level. Have you had the fridge being operated by gas previously or not?

It sounds to me the jet is blocked for the gas this is how you fix it...Click

Is the igniter a manual operated type or electronic ignition and have you got a leisure battery connected up as you will need one to power the igniter. When the battery is connected, is the CAR/VAN switched to VAN?
It may sound stupid but have you got the gas connected and valve open?
It's always best to try the simple things first before attempting any fridge removal and servicing.

yes the igniter is electronic and yes the battery is new and connected yes because it lights the cooker.oh i don't know i will check that also and thank you
