Can anyone help in telling me where to find my VIN badge for a 2001 Swift Lifestyle 510. I have the CRIS etched on the windows but struggling to find the badge on the chassis.
On a 2001 model caravan the weight plate won't be located on the 'A' frame like older caravans were. The weight plate which shows the MIRO (unladen weight) and MTPLM (maximum laden weight) and date of manufacture will be located at the bottom left or right of the caravan door.
Thanks for all the replies. I do have a plate by the door but it only gives weight details and not the VIN. I have also looked all around the A frame with no joy....suggestions please !!
I think there may be some confusion here if you are looking for a VIN as it stands for 'Vehicle Identification number' which a caravan is not a vehicle so it doesn't have one. The only identification number a caravan has is the CRIS number which you said is already etched on the windows.
As well is two words!
