We have a 1992 Avondale caravan which we bought last summer, it is our first caravan and is in great nick apart from that the water heater for water in the washroom doesn't heat the water, it heats water for the tap in the kitchen. I just wonder if anyone has experience of this, what the cause of this might be, would it be easy to fix and how much it might cost?

If the heater provides hot water to the kitchen but not the bathroom the problem is in the pipe run to the bathroom not the heater. I would be inspecting where the pipes go and checking that someone has not diverted the hot tap and connected only cold water.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
