Hi Folks

I bought a second hand Truma SE motor mover and fitted it today. Unfortunately the engagement motors are not working And won't move the rollers onto the caravan wheels.

However the drive motors work just fine in all operations.

I wired it as per instructions, but it did not come with a safety connwctor, so I ran a cable from the safety connection spade terminal to the negative terminal on the control box

I put new batteries in the remote and replaced all the fuses

Anyone got any ideas?

Just from memory, not able to check but when you press the 2 buttons to engage the motors i have to keep them pressed for about 15 seconds or so before the motors start to move
even with new batteries

I had this problem with one of my Powrtouch motors.

What had happened was that when they come off the tyre, they run back to their stopping point and after a few seconds, they move back forward a few millimetres.

However, if they are not allowed to do so because I have switched the power off too soon, they stick in the off positions and then jam.

To release them I have to manually turn the screw spindle a few turns and then they will work as they should.

I wasn't pressing the buttons long enough!!

It should tell you that in the instructions, but it doesn't
