We have just sold our motorhome and going back to a caravan.We are going to the NEC in a couple of weeks. We really want a single axle,twin beds and Alde heating. Have any of you good people out there any ideas of what we should be looking at? We don't want to waste time and energy going in and out of caravans( and looking through windows).
We may not necessarily be buying a new one but we could get some ideas.
There are many vans with this design . I think they are one of the most popular now.
We have a bailey pegasus rimini . 3 years old in June .We did have problems to begin the warranty put this right . The newer models I think seem better . But there are still some points I like or don't like . Also look at the swift. And the coachman . I love the rimini because it is more spacious and open inside however the bathroom is slightly smaller .. Coachman is lovely but they are heavy.
You really need to have a good look at the show and speak to others . I will be there . Ask me .
The Luna is a bit squashed in the living seating area . Check where your tv will go . This put me off many of the models.
If you can manage with a two berth then there are some fantastic caravans to be had the use the front benches as generous sized singles, whilst having good living space in the kitchen area and a nice rear bathroom/dressing room whilst keeping the total weight to below 1400kg, and the length down to 470cm or 20ft 10ins total shipping length, which helps with storage, especially if your trying to fit it onto the drive of a fairly modern house which tend to have shorter drives.

We have looked at the new Bailey Unicorn Cadiz but although it's lovely it's not perfect.(Is any caravan?!!)
We weren't too keen on the wardrobe and the cupboards seemed quite narrow.We loved the taller fridge and wider single beds.The seats at the front was great as they were longer.
The Swift Challenger 565 ticks many of the boxes but the front seats are shorter than we would like.
There must be a van for us somewhere.
Have you seen the adria astella - not everyone's cup of tea as it is an alternative layout, but I love it. It's a marmite van people always comment that they love it or hate it. Massive kitchen and two full size single beds on a single axle. Biggest van available on a single and the cheapest with alde heating.
I think it maybe called something else now and much more expensive but mine is 2 years old.

Hi can I advise that you take a look at the Eldiss Affinity. There is a trade off with any van - weight is 1500kg so a little heavy. Lrge sep shower plenty of room to change. Wet heating so takes a little while to warm up. Single beds are comfortable but a little narrow, if you are a wriggler you will be picking up the duvet of the floor. However I sorted that problem out by buying a double duvet cover and placing a single duvet in it on one side only. The rest of the cover is spreadt out under bed cushion. That way you are lying on the cover under the cushion and the duvet will not fall to the floor. Loads of cupboards, kitchen is good but more workspace would be useful I added a retractable shelf and has worked well. I will be adding shelves at the foot of the singles. I would think it is well worth a look at the show. I paid £20k 2 years ago and think they are still the same.

Al53HX I like the big frig in mine + the huge quadrant shower with its own light
The beds are also wider as you can have two singles or a double while using single just pull slightly to center shove duvet done side push bed back to make two singles no duvet loss during night.
PS if we have a fallout we always make a double that night

We are waiting for our new Bailey Cadiz which is due at the beginning of March.
We have moved from a 2 berth and wanted a van with twin beds. The good thing about the Cadiz is the large seating area at the front.
We ordered our on the last day of the caravan show at the NEC and got an excellent deal from Loudhams in Huddersfield.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
