As we have the white stuff, and I was looking longingly at the van from my landing window, I have booked some 2015 trips, off to North Yorkshire for Easter, Cornwall in the 1st week of the summer holidays for a week, then another week later on to Norfolk.
Good to have something to look forward to whilst I have a lay up due to having an operation next month.
Thanks, can't wait to get it over with, not had any feeling in my right hand for over 6 months, have to admit a little excited at having 4 weeks off during term time, shame kids are in school or could have sneaked a few days away lol.
We only got our caravan in July so only managed to gt away in it twice in the summer, next year we are off to Norfolk at the end of July and Filey in August. As we have Derbyshire on our doorstep we are planning lots of weekends away, seen a couple of sites in Staffs as well.
Because I work at school we are limited to school holidays but I plan to have the caravan ready to go at weekends at a moments notice.
Where are you staying in Norfolk, Wibsey?
We are going to Cromer, although we have decided to not take the dog, as we want to explore the area, and she is not good in busy places, and as they are only a week at a time she will cope in prison (kennels) lol.
We stayed at Manor Farm at Cromer about 4 years ago, we really enjoyed it. The North Norfolk Steam Railway from Sheringham to Holt is worth a trip, Holt is lovely pop into Byfords Coffee shop while you are there.
Go and see the seals at Blakeney Point too.
Thanks Monks, we are staying at woodhill caravan park, we were attracted by the lack of club house, want my last week before I go back to school to be a quiet one, like you I work in schools so we are tied to term time holidays.
Get on the fantastic Coasthopper ,it stops right outside your campsite, if you are lucky enough to get Andy as your driver ,you'll have a great journey
Pentewan Sands for 1st two weeks in August, hoping to do 9 nights somewhere at Easter and head up north in October.Haven't had a great 2014,and haven't been away as much as we usually do so really looking forward to this year!

Easter-York
August-Cornwall
October half term-Dawlish
Xmas-still looking...
We are off to two mills in Norfolk on 12 June for 1 week then up to York for the second week. Taking time and maybe having a few stops on the way down and on our return, no need to hurry anymore as I retire at the end of March,.
My hubby is 40 in February I have just booked a few days away at a Cottage on the North Yorks coast first week of the Easter holidays. As we only have a 2 berth and the children sleep in the awning it will still be a bit too cold at the end of March to go in the van.
I am really looking forward it it, something to think about on the dark, cold winter nights!!
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
