Hi, I have the above model, great little caravan but no owners handbook.
I figured out the heater, the fridge, the battery charger, and most other things on it but I have seen it mentioned on here that there is a hidden document safe/locker on this model. I am hoping once I find it I will find all the paper work for it and the user manual.
How do I locate it with no user manual ? Does anybody have a clue as to where it is actually hidden ? All HELP AND ADVICE APPRECIATED !!
Will wait and hope for the reply, thanks Doo Heid.
We think the caravan is great for an oldie, I fitted an extra side locker for storage so the awning and poles can be stowed away from the outside under the seat, also added a twin 12v cig' lighter socket outside on right of door to use when awning up. Fitted an extra 240v socket/flap on battery side and added solar panel plugs in here, now solar panels are plugged in from here and regulator is under the seat with twin battery charging, I added an extra 110 battery to power the added sockets, the radio and the TV/DVD player. Added a chimney opening to the awning so we have a log burner in there now for those chilly nights in October/November in the Lake District.
Just need to find the hidden documents now.
I have a huge-mongous leisure battery to fit to ours, but am waiting for a bit of spare time so I can also add my 1500w inverter.
It's a great wee thing with EU and UK fitting on one socket! It powers my grinders, drill and so on, so will easily work our LCD TV.
I have to fix a leaky pipe and replace a wooden panel as you come in the door as it has suffered rising damp (oooh, Mr Rigsby... over the past 23 years.
I fancy solar panels, but one thing at a time I think
Good luck with the van and I hope the documents appear in some form, in the meantime, is this any help?

Thanks for that, I am running an inverter to, a 2000watt 24v system with 2 x 110 batteries in series and charged from 2 x 80 watt solar panels, runs power tools, TV's DVD players and fridge but this system is in the back of my 4x4 with the panels mounted on the roof and a 3 way fridge in the boot, great for the beer and the Mrs is happy cause the caravan fridge is free for the food she wants in there. The caravan has 2 x 45 watt solar panels to keep the batteries in the caravan at full charge. Never need to use a 240v hook up for anything now.
might just have to have a run up there next year, I usually only get to Cumbria, a bit in the wilds with no facilities but it is exclusive to a few close friends of the owner. take a look at the profile picture, should give you an idea. Doo Heild
