Definitely make sure van is drained properly and leave all taps open in between hot and cold. Remove all cushions and store inside if you can, if not place them on their side in the van with room around for air circulation. I also leave cupboards and fridge door open. I tend to leave curtains open to let in sunlight but some people prefer diffrently. If you have van at home, open it to air off when weather permits.

just head south . the birds have been doing it for years . i never drain mine down . would need the water in portugal or morocco etc .
strangely enough the solar works better as well. ha ha .
