hi all I have just come back from a lovely week away .tv a 3d freeveiw .when on bbc itv 4 and 5 I get some one telling what is happing next as if it was for a deaf channel .I use the tv at home with no problems

Hi, you need to go to settings on you tv it must be set on audio description. your signal at home may not be strong enough to get all information carried along side tv signal

Agree with albee. We had the same problem but easily sorted when you know how. As albee says, just go into settings and follow the instructions.

The remote on my TV has a button labelled "AD" which is to turn the audio description on and off.

I think you'll find the audio description is for the blind, not the deaf .
