Hi Stu, as far as I'm aware it is a simple job to do but as it involves cutting into the skin of the van so it will affect your warranty for water ingress if not done as per the book, also gas work similarly should be done by suitably qualified people so best get the supplying dealer to do it. It would have been one of my haggling points when negotiating a price to get it done as part of the sale, good luck if you have a go.
