Just wondered,now its getting a bit damp at night the awning roof is getting wet inside.The rest is ok like the sides and front,but if the roof blows slightly in the wind its that wet it shakes water on you like a shower,is that normal.The van is dry and has no condensation at all.Also we were not in the awning yesterday but still as wet
I would say two things may be at fault.
One the awning my need reproofing or,
Two theres not enough air getting in to it.
Your not by any chance using a fire in it as this may cause condensation .
Warm days, cool/cold nights, will lead to condensation.

I only got condensation when I took my proper floor up and left a breathable groundsheet down. With a wooden floor and carpet I got no condensation at all, as soon I took it up the roof was wet through in the morning. Maybe this could be the issue?

This makes sense.the awning is 8 months old and been up 5 times.we have a breathable ground sheet so the grass don't go yellow and all year been fine till now.i poured water on roof today and left in a pool for an hour.dry as a bone it's not coming through so it seems your suggestion is correct.i like using our breathable sheet as on most sites you have to so later in year like now what's best to use
It's my opinion that you need a complete seal against the floor, this is not an option for tourers,I am seasonal so use plastic sheeting on the ground and interconnecting loft boards on top with a carpet on the boards. It's cock on, but I'm not too sure what could be used for touring regarding packing away and weight.
I reckon that is your problem though.
