hi my next question to you very helpful lot:

is there any caravan breakdown insurance that will tow a caravan to any destination that the tower requires if the caravan breaks down rather than the towcar, i have a company towcar and i just want belt and braces just in case anything happened to caravans suspension/brakes/hitch/anything else just on the caravan, many thanks again

our insurance is with the camping and caravanning clubs insurance and you don't have to be a member to purchase it, although a small discount is applied if you are, we're not members.

I would check it covers if only the caravan breaks down. When I looked into this cover it states they will take your car and van anywhere etc but didn't clearly say if the breakdown of the caravan only would be covered.

C&CC is with the RAC (arrival) scheme. Thats who i use. Its very comprehensive.

I had a look at green flag and it didnt specify lots of stuff the RAC mentioned.

I didnt go that far into it though. The RAC lowered the price to make them competetive.

The RAC can now take the longer caravans that mayday would take. The RAC wouldn't take our twin axle in the past. Have had no problems with Mayday.
