I have recently bought Geist caravan. One problem, the cooker in the caravan has gas flow fine and you can light the hobs but they don't stay on. You have to press in to light them as well as select the power, but when you stop pressing the knob, it goes out, no matter how long you press it for. It says in the book 15 seconds but if you press it for 15 seconds or longer it still goes out when you let go of the knob - Help?
Hi, try lighting it with the knob pulled off to see if it stays lit then, if so knobs are touching the facia and the spindle hole in the knob will need packing out with a small piece of foil. also check to see if burners have been removed for cleaning and put back incorrectly, you should see the themo- couple spike sticking up by the burner this should be sitting next to the flame.
