Hi just bought a caravan fitted with a magic mover 2, no instructions with it ,I had the caravan serviced before taking off on a trip, the engineer told me just wind the rollers back to make contact with the tires, turn the key for electrics to the on position and away you go! Tried it nothing! Changed battery in remote , still nothing, all the lights on the receiver light up but no response , anybody got any ideas, is there something I am not doing?

Did the mover work when the engineer was servicing the caravan?
Try the mover before winding the rollers on to the tyres. If it works then it points at the battery not being able to power the mover under load, the battery may need charging or it may need replacing. If it doesn't work then check you have power reaching the mover.

Agree with the above - check the leisure battery. Our mover stopped responding and a change of battery cured the issue (had a dodgy cell apparently).

As mentioned try mover not touching wheels.
Also check there is a small antenna (ariel) on the electronic gubbins inside the caravan. Mine fell off and I had the same symptoms.
Resoldered antenna and all OK!
