Just purchased a Dorema Porch Mistral Awning after much research, and looking forward to using it. However, just thought i'd weigh it and to my surprise instead of the product details of 11.9KG it came up as 13.56KG that's 14% heavier than the advertised weight. The response from Dorema is; 'thats why we state approx', but I would have thought that with modern manufacturing quality assurance they would be more accurate in their description especially as we have to be carful with MTPLM weights.

Up date from Dorema, they will change product details for next season with a more accurate weight.

Just stopped using Mistral after 2 years, made my own bumper pads for rear and sewn pockets in and used some poles from and old awning at rear to get a nice watertight and draught-proof fit to van.Now gone to larger Outdoor revolution porch as windows and doors are in different positions on new van side.
