wish i could get storage that cheap,i have to pay £500 + for storing my van,one place wanted £670,but we never paid that for the van.we have found a local cl type site who charge us a £ a night if we don't stay in it,then winter we have to find somewhere else.so i think £300 is cheap

Hi
We are paying £195 for the year
The entrance is a gate with security code
floodlights
Outer fence has a electonic beam protecting caravan
Open 6am til 10 pm
Very good storage
We pay £300 for the year, ours is sited in a grass paddock on a farm with about 40 other caravans, the paddock is secure with 8 foot fencing all around and the gate only opens with a number coded lock, owners live in house near the entrance/exit, we have access anytime, but if you are in before 7am or after 9pm, we need to telephone to let them know we are about. We also have access to a hose to wash down the caravan. We think this is cheap for our area, most want over £500 per year.
We pay £140 for 24 hour notice during the week and day time access at the weekend and get a reduction on our insurance because its gold rated or something like that.

Where about around Carlisle do you store yours, we are looking for new storage facilities for ours in the Carlisle area?
We pay £6 a week, it's stored on a farm/stables with about 100 other vans, there's no formal security as such but the owners live on site and are always there during the day working and know who owns which van and stop any "new" people and question them about why they're there. Plus there are dogs loose overnight which IMHO is better than any padlocked gate!!!!
we have ours on Carlisle Caravan Storage, Low Harker, Carlisle. 01228 674254 I have just noticed I put £140 should have been £240 sorry about that but still good value we have been there since 2003. If you know the area you go past ASDA heading to Rockcliff and just before you get to the garden nursery you cross the motorway and the site is on the right hand side.

Yes I know the area, it's where we store ours too! But the recent changes have made us think about looking for somewhere else.
We have taken ours out of storage due to increase in price and made secure provision for it on the front of the house. We were paying £350 per year with absolutely no security whatsoever.
We pay £300 a year fpr a Cassio Gold Storage Site with loads of security,...2 locked gates with key numbers, Camera's, owners live on site, and a large dog patrolling.
------------- wishing everyone,,,,what you would wish for yourselves x
we pay 160 a year lovely yard well protected only bad thing is theyre closed on tuesdays unless by pre arrangement ie your coming home on a tuesday etc then theyll open the gates for you to drop your van off(like us next week)
well worth the money IMO
