I want to remove the alko hitch and the repair manual says I need a 10 mm dowel pin to insert before I remove the second bolt, I assume to retain the hitch damper. does anyone know the length of this pin please? Also has anyone replaced the O rings which hold the side pads in place, and what size /dia are they?

The pin in the kit is 35mm long and 12mm diameter.
