Converting older caravans to the new 13 pin euro plug system may not be as easy as you may think, converting caravans built before september 1998 is not as simple as changing the 12n/12s leads and plugs to the single 13 core cable and euro plug.

A simple modification MUST be carried out first before you can upgrade your older caravan to the 13 pin system, this modification is well within most DIY peoples scope.

I am a former vehicle electrical engineer as well as a current caravanner, a few months ago I have written up instructions on how to convert older caravans to the new 13 pin euro plug system for caravan club members, these instructions are nine pages of A4, can email as an attachment to you if needed, kind regards, Colin.
