Hello everybody,i've just bought a rapido orline folding caravan to go with my trailer tent and 15 tents.I want to touch up the paint on both the outside and inside,does anybody know which paint I should go for?

What are you painting on the inside ?You can also use coach paint which you can get from halfords etc

Jeff the people who had it before me decorated it like an American diner,I need to re instate it as a caravan,they painted all over the lovely wall covering

In that case i would use an emulsion paint suitable for a bath room or kitchenette.

Also, on the inside, use a primer before the emulsion. I didn't, but after three coats of the finest bathroom paint, it knocks off very easily. So next time I will use a primer!!

Thanks guys,now the previous owners stuck postcards over the inside after painting the wall covering,I thought i would just rip them off easy but to say they are solidly stuck is an understatement and they wont budge and I cant scrape them off cos of the textured wallcovering.I doubt anybodies been in this situation but any ideas?

Also I know this is an odd question but,do you thread the awning in the front or back or doesn't it make any difference,as you can tell,i've never had a van before

Use the front one, unless you want the awning on the non door side for some reason. Would be useful for a sunshade though, then you could sit either side of the van.

Try heating the stuck area of postcards with a hair dryer. Sometimes when you heat it up the sticky can loosen. Worth a try before you scrape away the wall covering.
( used to use this trick on my Aha Posters as a girl to preserve them when moving my room round)
