First, what a great site for information you have !!

I hope somebody can help with this little problem.

Not sure of the model number (think maybe C2). I removed the toilet roll holder to get at the pump, in this compartment there is a small in line pump & a 30 amp relay.(so this compartment must stay dry)
A pipe coming to the pump from the on board water tank, a pipe from the pump to a small valve ( which I believe sits in the reservoir for the chemical tank ), from the valve a second pipe goes to the flush on the toilet bowl.

I am replacing the pump but while taking off the wires and pipes I have dislodged the valve, I can see the bracket for the pump, there is a screw holding the relay, The bowl flush end of the pipe sits in place BUT I can not for the life of me see or feel the place that the valve fits in to, the valve does have a clip and is shaped to fit in to or on to something but what and where is it ??

Any help, links and or pictures would be very much appreciated.

Thank you for the link, I have found my loo. It's the Cassette C3 and it's part 41, but although the diagram is great for showing all the parts and order numbers it does not show where each individual part goes.

I can find the place for them all except part number 41 which is the valve I describe in my first post, can anybody tell where this fits inside the chamber please ?

Have you checked out the Thetford on-line repair instructions? They have a fairly comprehensive interactive guide that you can access here.

If the guide is awkward to view, I happen to have a full copy of it which I could send you (saved before Thetford went 'interactive'), but at a quick glance through the valve section, there doesn't appear to be mention of the valve clipping anywhere.

Hi PAUL, fantastic, I found it in there, C3 vacuum breaker, not easy to find the screws from the pictures as they are in the top, so upside down when feeling for them. Coming down from the top of the inside of the loo.

So it was the vacuum breaker and not the valve as first thought.
Glad you're sorted though, result
