Were newbies and have a 4 berth side dinette for daughter. I hate sleeping bags so def want quilt and duvet cover. What do you put underneath (lay on) ? Just a sheet?
My wife really wanted a duvetlay, which is a memory foam base with a duvet attached to it, so semi sleeping bag / ordinary bed. However, they are a little expensive. So she made our own. She bought 2 double duvet covers, 2 single duvets and an ordinary double memory foam topper. We then cut the topper in half and placed it inside and down one side of the double duvet cover. Then she sewed a thread down the middle of the cover to hold it in place (we did leave an 8 inch gap at the top and bottom to make it easier to get it in and out after washing. then we put the single duvet in the other half, Bingo one home made duvetlay for £30 each. tried them this weekend and the kids / teenagers love them. Loads better than the sleeping bags.
We already have a thick memory foam topper and a duvet for us.
Two duvets rolled together for easy packing is what we use. One we lie on is a 13.5 tog hollowfibre quilt that evens out the bumps and the one on top is whatever we are sleeping under at home depending on the season..

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
I have 4 boys and we have two memory foam beds for the dinette bunks the only downside is that memory foam does not like being rolled up so bear this in mind
Memory foam topper, double duvet on top of that (easier to throw that over than wrestle with a sheet), then us and a duvet on top of us! Sounds alot but takes 2 minutes. We have same layout as you, son used to sleep on side dinette with just a sleeping bag. We took the top bunk out to give him more room.

We have a double dinette, but we have the same set up for the OH and I, and the DD at the other end...
Double mattress topper, covered with a fleecy sheepskinny type thermal blanket thing, (the OH could probably desribe that a little better), all wrapped in either a single duvet cover - which is a snug fit for a double mattress topper, but does fit really well, or for us, a double duvet cover which has been altered to fit the mattress topper.
Really easy to set the bed up, roll out the mattress topper, job done. Duvet, pillow on top :-)
