I have looked at a number of porch awnings but most have a maximum height of no more than 250cm which is justa little  too short for a freedom I have now started to look at drive away awnings which are intended for motorhomes but have a much more flexible tunnel which allows a greater height clearance, one of the best I have seen so far is the quest elite high top which not only fits but looks good and can be errected easily by 1 person - still looking though so if you find one before me please let me know.

best of luck
