Hi all, we live just outside Chester , and are vaguely thinking of doing a tour of whole of welsh coast and then back up along the Wales / England border . Any recommendations? Any problems anyone can foresee?

All help greatly appreciated .

The market towns of Brignorth, Ludlow, Shrewsbury are worth visiting. As are Much wenlock and Ironbridge if they aren't too far off your return route.

Agree with the above, also the Wye Valley, travel up from Chepstow and don't miss Ross on Wye. Stokesay Castle near Craven Arms in South Shropshire is great. The Long Mynd, Shrewsbury, up past Wrexham to home.
