We are looking to sell our swift challenger 636 2012 (October)
It has been used for a few wends and one summer holiday in France
We have power touch motor mover fitted and a full Isabella awning (use once) all caravan accessories , aqua roll, waste master, electric cable, locks, all cutlery, and cookware plus much more. As is. All as new ( still got plastic on carpets in caravan and all seating areas always covered with throw) and because there are so many extras we are looking to get as good a price as possible would £17000 be realistic and where would be the best place to advertise? A friend suggested caravan finder. What are your thoughts and advice re the sale please

Don't know about price but put it as many places as you can. Ebay classified, caravan finder, on here and try your selling dealer and see if he would sell on commission.

In that price range I reckon most people would like the comfort of a dealer being involved.

We found it difficult to sell our 2013 van as people feel more comfortable buying from a dealer and can take advantage of dealer finance etc.

Thanks all. Yes we've had a local dealer say they would sell for us, so think that may be the route we take. At least people will feel comfortable via. A dealer and could tne take finance if they wanted.
Yes we've done 9 years of camping/caravanning which I know isn't long compared to some, but it's been enough for us. It's just not fulfilling what we want/need as a holiday anymore I'm afraid.

I recently sold my MH on Gumtree. It got the most hits and most of the calls I got were from viewers of that site. I advertised it on here and umpteen other places! Preloved also gleaned a few calls.

Try and keep your price competitive and expect a few time wasters lol!! Good luck
