Hi
Just looking for insurance quote with Caravan Club.
Would you advise us to get legal cover and no claims protection? Never underdtsood this side of insurance.
Anything else we need to know about insurance?

I think with the Camc you have to have 4 consecutive claim free years of insurance before you can get protected no claims, for which you have to pay extra.
The legal cover might be useful if you are not any good at dealing with these things on your own and you don't have legal cover with any other insurances you might have.

Legal cover, yes.
It helped greatly when one of our vans was badly damaged during repatriation from France.

We have legal cover with our home insurance and never saw the need to line anyone else's pocket paying for the same thing again.

You should be careful if your home ins covers you as well as a separate policy as you can be in the position where you are double insured and each insurer will apportion the cost, it can become difficult and can delay any action.
