hi guys and girls.
not long bought my first caravan. a nice 1985 rapido pop top. just a tiny two berth. got all the mod cons of a 1985 travel lodge.
don't have the space to have anything bigger and don't really want anything else. into the whole retro thing so it suits me just fine.
have had to do a bit of damp repair to it but it all went fine.
camping is all well and good if you are young and drunk but somewhere I can stay dry and have a pee in the middle of the night without trailing across a field is better(my rapido even has a toilet compartment).
its just right for me and my 5 year old son to get away for a few days.
I have a Volvo 740 turbo with a few mods that's running 240BHP so the little rappie doesn't even bother it.
have visited this site a few times and found it very usefull so thought I`d join up and say hi.
I do have a few questions about a few things but I`ll put them up in the appropriate places.

Hello - I am in the process of buying my first caravan ( should get it in about 2 weeks) and I have asked endless questions here and had so many helpful replies . Everyone has been very patient with my ignorance and not made me feel like the eejit I am ! So welcome I hope we both have many years of happy caravanning ahead
