We are due to go away next week with my brother and his wife.
His wife has just been diagnosed with Aortic stenosis. And will need an operation in the summer.
They are unable to get insurance and even though the doctor said go but take it easy . It is a very nerve wracking position to be in.
We are going to holland with caravan via Harwich to the hook .
Would anyone know of an insurance that may cover this .also
Does anyone else have or has had the condition.

My wife 4 years ago was diagnosed with cancer of the thyroid, which resulted in surgery & radiation treatment. The cancer at present is dormant, we have a caravan but only use it in the UK. But we enjoy going to the Med for sunny hols, this year this is what we have started doing until the caravan season starts, just returning from Costa del sol.
We experienced problems with travel insurance, tried several, if you mention cancer they don't want to know, plus I take B/P pills & statins. Eventually we found a company who would insure us both, telling them all our medical problems, we received a quote from them which we thought very reasonable for 12 months, just over £1 day for the 2 of us. THE INSURANCE NAME IS ALLCLEAR.They say they insure people with under lining medical conditions, they are worth a try, best of luck.
