Does anyone know roughly how much a mobile cleaner would charge for doing an 8m van, exterior only?

Have just checked four companies via Google and they vary from £45-£100. Nothing mentioned in any of them re van length.

I called a guy advertising 'from £55' to clean a single axle - when I tell him what van I have, his quote becomes £135

Can't find any other cleaners in the area (Surrey/Sussex) and even my normal dealer doesn't know of anyone (and they don't offer it themselves).

Better get my sponges out...

I was thinking of getting mine washed at the local car wash. They charge £3.00 to wash a car and £5.00 for a transit van so I'd not expect to pay more than £10 for a caravan, maybe not doing the roof.

Is there any good reason not to use a hand car wash company?

We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.

They will pressure wash the seams & leather off the windows with a gritty cloth, which seems a good enough reason not use them....
