We are preparing for our first trip out in our caravan next weekend.
After years of camping under canvas we are finally making the long awaited move to tin tenting. (Very excited is not the word). Did what quite a few people seem to do and went to camping shop at a caravan dealership to look at new camping chairs and came out the proud owners of a Sprite Musketeer TD..lol

We have been used to sleeping bags - 2 singles made into a double for me and OH and a single for our daughter with fleece blankets underneath and a few, if needed for on top, if it's chilly.

Just wondering what you guys do for bedding? Do you have sleeping bags or duvets?

Any advice would be fab thank you

Cherie

Duvet for us as with everything everyone is different with what they like and are comfortable with. Try duvets from your beds from home and if not comfortable next time take your sleeping bags

Sleeping bags for us with a fleece blanket over the top if it's really cold in winter.

We just take our duvets and pillows off the bed with us. Nice and cosy and homely. Also bought ourselves a memory foam mattress topper from Aldi and we sleep like babies.

Neither did i. Am i right in thinking you have to supply your own duvet to fill the cover bit?

If so.....How muuuuch!!!!!!!

We also use a spare duvet and mattress topper.

No - It's a memory foam mattress and a duvet all in one, but it's not restrictive like a sleeping bag.

They are the best thing we have ever purchased for our van. Very comfortable and we now sleep better than at home!
