The old hurricane we bought came with a huge bag full of (I assume) full size awning. When I laid it out it was about 20 ft long. Instead of using that for a while we were hoping to find something smaller and just for keeping the rain out and taking boots off etc. Are there universal awnings that fit over the porch? Or does it have to be specific and tailor made for that elddis hurricane gtx ? Thanks folks...spent all day cleaning the caravan. that better be it John

yes there are indeed porch awnings. If you do an ebay search with that you will get an idea of what is on the market.
They also come as "lightweight" easy to erect.
We have used a sunncamp Ultima 260 porch awning and loved it.
Hi Steve. just back from a very quiet norwich camping and leisure with a sunncamp swift 220 at a nice (match the internet) price. Better than the canvas aircraft hangar that came with the 'van. Cheers john
