Looks like it, the Pursuit is the new lightweight:

Looks to be the same as the Sprite range from Swift, the 430-4 is the same weight and size as my Sprite Alpine 4

I thought I saw none on the stands at the NEC. I don't think the shape was popular (someone said it looks like a toaster and when you think about it LOL....)

The layout and size look similar to the Orion. Main difference is the curve on the rear end.
I like the Orion shape, kind of retro

If you check out the scant information so far released by Bailey the model names and layouts are very similar to the Orion range. However they have made the microwave, al-ko stabaliser tow hitch, spare wheel & carrier and cd radio with ipod/mp3 connection an optional extra. Admittedly some better spec on the interior - the electronic fridge is about the best thing so not exactly dramatic. And somehow they seem to have made the new models even heavier than the old uns - my Orion 460-5 5 birth has a max weight of 1360kg (heavy for a so called lightweight), whereas the equivalent pursuit 550-4 which is 4 birth with less standard family friendly equipment has a max road weight of 1374kg. And does that include the weight of the premium pack? Does the max weight go up or does the load carrying capacity go down? We will have to wait and see...
On the subject of shape I love the shape of the Orion - its a bit like a modern day airstream in shape. Now has anyone ever described the airstream as a toaster?

Why am i doing this instead of camping??!!

Looks to me like bailey have positioned this new model against the Adria Altea 542 looking at the way it's spec is built up.

Still way off on weight though and the bunks are much smaller than Adria. Looks better in my opinion, we didn't like the retro styling of the Orion.

The lack of a front locker put me right off even considering an Orion when we were short listing to buy our Avante.

What are you supposed to do with all the odds and ends such as the Ehu cable, water hog/waste container, winder, muddy blocks from under the steadies, fire bucket ect?

Not all cars have big enough bootspace to carry all these things whilst travelling, and i would not fancy bringing wet gear fresh off the pitch into an underbed locker of my Caravan

I would think the omission of the front locker with gas bottle locker amidships was to address excess noseweight which might be a problem for owners of these caravans which were at lower end of price range & might be towed with lighter vehicles.

I can see your point Jack and Jon, but plenty of the competitors such as Venus and Explore still managed to make an entry level caravan with a decent sized front locker for similar money.

Both were designed to be towed by small family cars, especially in the 2 and 4 berth compact models, and were not too heavy on the noseweight if packed correctly.

Moving the gas locker to over the axle makes available 1/2 a metre of internal space
