I like the idea of a small trailer, but if you think I'd be climbing up a bleedin' ladder at 77yrs old, you've got another think coming.

No way, Manuel.

There is a bed inside the main pod. No need to climb up a ladder. The tent on top is optional, we bought it for our kids and take it off if it’s just me and the wife..

Yes, that’s right. The tent will sit on top of your car, assuming you have the correct roof rails..

And of course your car can take the weight, my Picasso as a maximum roof weight of just 80kgs.
I quite like those teardrop trailers, I remember watching Ade Edmonson using one I think in a program called Ade In Britain?

Yep, we like it. I missed that program Ade in Britain, but I will look out for it. I’m guessing he wasn’t dressed as a Punk, namely Vyvyan.. 😁

Yep, that’s how we started. Then we needed extra space, so we went for the pod. Plus, once we unhook, we have the car at our disposal without having to close the tent down..

A lot of cars I’ve seen with roof tents only have a roof weight limit of 50kg, that one wife or half of me!

I think the weight limit only applies to the car when travelling. As far as I know, I’m not sure the weight limit applies when the tent is set up. But I could be wrong… Our first roof tent was 75kg and we got 2 adults and a child in it and we had no problems..
