Thought I'd share my recent experience with the People at Caravan Guard,my insurance renewal is due later this month,so they contacted me by phone,are you renewing at the market value same as last year,YES,well you undervalued it by £400 so we have adjusted it this year,THANK YOU,also your personal items are covered by your home insurance so would you like us to cancel them from the policy,YES,your premium is now £155.
I am extremely pleased with that as the premium has actually dropped by £27,so van valued at £8400 insured for £155 what a great result.

That's a great price from Caravan Guard - last time I got a quote from them for a similar amount, they wanted some stupid premium, so I've never even bothered trying them again.
I've just renewed, so maybe I should try them again, although I doubt it will be less than the £115 I got from some unknown, dodgy company from GoCompare - almost half the price of my renewal from the AA.

We used to insure with caravanguard but when we bought our new van they wanted all sorts of ridiculous security devices. We changed to the caravan club who only require one device and insure new for old.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
