I looked out the window to see my neighboure across the road, who is moving soon struggling sorting things on his 1994 twin axel caravan which had been sat there for 2 1/2 years without moving as no towbar on his current cars.

I poped over to see him and he said he had just sold it and the guys coming round to collect it shortly.

3 of the tyres were low and one poped! he was trying to pump tyres up with a cheap electric pump no hope. i poped back to my garage and wheel my 50 air compressor over and slowly pumped the tyres up found the spare and switched that for the popped one. once pumped up we checked the date they were the origional 1994s!

I then pulled my car up and hitched it on the back to tow it forward so we could check all the lights which after a new bulb they all did and the brakes work fine.

Any how the buyer turned up and we said he should probably get new tyres before you tow it away as they are so old and not looking very healthy. reply they will be fine in only going 10 miles! so he hitched it up and off it went. I dont no if the guy was brave or just plan crazy! I sure would not of drive to the end of the road on them let alone 10miles. We have not herd anything so i guess he must of made it.

She may be old, she may be rough around the edges but she is our home from home and we love it.

You are truly a good neighbour. I wish you lived across the road from me!

I hope the buyer is getting new tyres for it... a lot don't seem to care how old they are.

Its nice to help when you can. when he has been sorting out his garage any odd and sods for caravans he has been poping over with. He gave me and aqua roll and a 7kg butane bottle gas half full and once his caravan had gone he gave me
one of these for are caravan.
It will be a shame to see him go but where he is moving to norfolk he has already said if we want to visit to take caravan and can park in on his land. yes ive already asked if he can fit about 5 pitches with hook ups there

With regards to the buyer though. he said he was a road work on contract locally for 3 year in the area so its just going to be parked up again.
