Hi,  Does anyone use a handheld vacuum for their caravan and if so, which ones are good and which should we get!  Have never had one before and know nothing about them!

Many thanks, Em.

Hi thefourwoodys, Had the dirt devil, waste of money those hand held ones( may be useful if not on EHU), bought a cheepy when on a trip, over two years ago around £30 cylinder type like the small dyson, weight 3k great for the van, synergy vacuum cleaner VC608, with attachments for upholstery and curtains. Can’t remember which store, could have been one of three, Argos, Curry’s, or instore. Have seen similar in Lidl’s and Aldi’s.

I had a dyson hand held and it was rubbish, bought a cheapy cylinder one in asda and it's brilliant, I keep it on the caravan as it's quite small.

We bought this one after reading a few posts on here about it and its brilliant - we use it to vac the caravan, car and hard to reach places in the house too.  Only uses 700watts so fine for the hook up

We have one of those too. Got it after i had taken back two dirt devils that had about as much suck as i have with a straw!!

The electrolux is great light weight and even sucks up dry grass where the campsite have cut the grass when you are on it and you cannot get to the loo without paddling clods of the stuff, all stuck to your feet.

Cleans well on the stairs too and great in the car.

Karen

If you are looking for the best handheld vacuum get a Dirt Devil, Dyson or Miele. Does the job 100%.

Black and Decker.
Lasts about 5 minutes on a charge and is OK for a light vac.

We've got a dyson. Works very well for keeping on top of the samd and crumbs during a stay. We always give caravan a good Hoover out when we get home.

we bought a GTech and I think it's very good. very light and as it's an upright no getting on your hands and knees. Has a brush on one edge so gets all the dust. we have a folding camper so need to clean it before we close it up. wasn't that cheap but I'm pleased with it.
