Hi, Does anybody have any experience of this Motor Mover. It is selling at a very good price by Bolsover Caravans. I have no knowledge of this product so would prefer unbiased opnion from people who have seen it/used it. We can go and view it at the suppliers but would prefer your feedback first. We would only use it for manoevering the van up a slight gradiant, on the drive at home, very light usage so don't want an expensive product. Any comments would be appreciated. thanks Denise.
"Excellent ground clearance". Looks about two inches. Add £99 to get the same five year warranty as Powrwheel/Powrtouch supply as standard. Not for me.
I think you will find it is a Purpleline Enduro with a piece of blue plastic added to make it look different .I have had the Enduro for 6 years and no problems works fine.I have to take my caravan best part of 30 metres from road down side of house to rear garden.
Thanks for all your replies... according to the website, it does have slow stop/start. Have emailed them for more details and waiting for them to get back to me. thanks again.
Below is a reply from Bolsover caravans. I asked for information about it being chain/gear driven and also ground clearance.....
Hi. It is chain driven and ground clearance is the usual 8 or 9 inches minimum depending on caravan. Clearance has never been an issue. You will find that spare wheel carriers are lower than motor movers. In the case of chain driven motors, we haven't had a failure on any chain driven mover in 13 years of selling any make. However, we did have a faulty geared one last year when we supplied a make which promotes this type! This Magic Mover has been made to our specification and is proving to be the most reliable we've ever sold
Thinking more positively about this mover now.... unless anyone else knows something different. thanks for your replies, keep them coming :)
I have just measured mine which is now on its second caravan, previously on Europa and now on Ranger GT60 and the ground clearance is 5 inches.I have had this 6 years now and it has never caught any road humps, or on one site i go on which has a half mile access lane full of large pot holes have i ever had a problem. (Go for it )
Mine (different make) looked very low and I too was concerned about road humps, however it clears them easily, even though it didn't look like it would!! The wheel goes up and the mover goes up with it, if you see what I mean!
Well, I'd like to thank everyone for your replies. We finally bit the bullet and ordered one. Within an hour of placing an order on-line, we received a phone call to arrange a time to fit it at at our convenience and so far we are pleased with the service, but time will tell.... Roll on Easter
Hi,i fitted a magic mover to my 1800 kg abbey last season works a treat,i fitted it myself in under 2 hour no problem .I have used the magic mover most times we have taken the van out last season and it coped with all we asked of it,considering the van is at the top end of the weight spec it has been brilliant .

Hi, we are considering having one of these fitted and just wondered how you were getting on with it?
Thanks, Teresa
