Right - you know the water pump filter that goes from the water tub to the caravan? Right? good. Well where it clips onto the caravan there are two really insubstantial swivel clips. I broke one. We have a replacement.

How the hell do you fit it?

Cheers

That's not the water filter, it is the pump housing that contains the twin electrical contacts and water hole. The clips go into what they call the pump housing and the clips just push in and click but if it won't go in then the old one may be party jammed in the hole. If so just lift up the caravan seat to gain access to the rear of the housing to see if the remaining broken part has jammed in the hole and if it has just get a pair of pliers and pull the broken part out so you should be able to see the hole where the new one fits in. When you fit the new one you have to hold it with thumb and fore finger directly over the spindle and then push hard otherwise if you try to fit it by the tab then it is likely to snap. I had to do mine when we bought our caravan as one of the clips was missing so had to replace with a new one.

Mmmmwah! You are a star. Thank you for that. I would never have thought of gaining access that way!
