Hi Neil, I have cleaned the roof quite a few times with Mr Fenwick's Caravan Cleaner the same stuff that I did the rest of the van with and similarly used their Bobby Dazzler afterwards with good results. I recon that's where most of the black streaks originate from, dirt on the roof.

I recently tried Showroom Shine instead this time so we will see which lasts longest.

As for skylight seals, some can look quite tatty but work ok, but if you are reasonably handy it should be a pretty straightforward job, there are loads of pics and info on how to do it and similar in the 'Fixed It Club' stickies part of the forum.
