Heading home after our trip to Forfar and on the A92 just past five roads roundabout, this utter pillock in an Audi decides he's going to overtake 3 cars behind me then me and the van(I was doing 55) what got me was he had a chance to pull in behind me, but chose to go for it meaning the lexus coming in the opposite direction and me had to brake sharply to avoid a nasty one, and if there's one thing I hate doing is braking sharply whist towing the van.
So imagine my utter disgust 5 miles down the road, 3 cars in front is mr numpty stuck fast behind a tractor going nowhere quickly.
OH found this quite amusing but in all honesty I wanted to haul him out his german brain cell remover and give him a doing.
Sorry for the rant, I just had to get that off my chest, I just despise crap drivers

Audi, BMW, VW and Mercedes... can you see a pattern beginning to emerge here? I certainly have over the last few years. The Germans are building cars with a CSR chip planted in them somewhere. The Common Sense Removal chip will eventually eradicate all sensible thought processes from the brains of drivers of exported German cars until one day all speed limits, traffic lights, safe following distances, solid white lines etc. are all totally redundant. Then heaven knows what. Our white goods perhaps?
I have noticed too that the majority of BMW driver seldom use their indicators and Audi driver are in second place with Mercedes not far behind either. Not noticed it with VW drivers but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest so I agree with Alistair about the pattern that has emerged with german car drivers over the past years. They seem to be ignorant of other drivers and your post is a typical example. Makes you wonder what make of vehicle the car insurance claims statistics have listed as being the highest claims rate.
Bad drivers have no common sense (and it is fair to say usually drive the same type of cars). Good drivers avoid the wrong-doings of the bad drivers but get upset and react with flashing lights/ blasting horns/ 'hand signals'. The best drivers avoid the wrong-doings of the bad drivers, ignore the reactions of the good drivers and get on with the job of getting from a to b in safety - usually while towing their caravan
------------- Why am i doing this instead of camping??!!

What site were you on at Forfar? We are on Lochside CC site just now.

As a former BMW/Audi Driver I would like to apologise on behalf of the idiots you have witnessed, I believe its an ego thing, mostly company car drivers who think they have got to the top of the tree within their organisation and have an expensive company car to go with their package and simply think they are better than anyone else. I too went through this ego phase (Yep...sadly) when you really think you are better than everyone else as you have done well for your company, got the big salary and bonus to boot...BUT...I grew up, got myself a sensible car and even better a beautiful caravan and I'm more than happy to cruise along at 60....BUT (Final But :)) When the Volvo comes to her natural end I will go back to an Audi, mostly for the torque and resulting caravan pulling power :)

I see this all the time, they always want to get that one car ahead but never seem to go far.
I like it though when they tailgate you and overtake with aggression and then you pull along side them at the next set of lights and just stare at them and then burst out laughing , they look down in same then, well untill the lights go green and then they forget and do it again.
