Being serious, I suppose before i had children I would have thought adults only was a good idea. Now I think if I have to suffer everyone should suffer! I also think dogs on site are much less bother than other people's children! All the dogs I meet are lovely, can't say the same for the kids!
I would be quite happy to see a small section where intolerant adults could be corralled, they could then all stand about moaning about that lot over there enjoying life.
------------- 'A sure cure for sea-sickness is to sit under a tree'
What annoys me more than adult only sites( rules me out) is people who go to ordinary sites and spend their entire time moaning about kids. That's why adult only sites were created you dimwitted muppets.
My 4 aren't allowed to be rowdy on a site, but I do let them have fun. If people can't handle that then frankly it's tough
------------- Who needs travel agents,we have our static
We no longer have any kids to take with us although we do have an assortment of grandchildren and great grandchildren of various sexes and ages so we are used to the hustle, bustle and noise. However a couple of weeks ago we elected to go too an adults only week at a well known site at Great Yarmouth. Never again, the entertainment was very good with the accent being on early 60s music etc BUT, without any kids on site it just wasn't the same, no holiday type atmosphere. We missed the sound of the kids playing, riding their bikes and to ing and fro ing from the swimming pool. I'm sure there is a place for adult only sites, but not for us. Just because we're 'Grey nomads' don't let it put you off pitching up next to us, we love all the kids (Providing they don't kick balls against the van)......Mick
Soon there will be sites divided into lots of different areas
Adults only,
No pets
No age concession
Singles only
I could think of a lot more but better hadn't say.

My son doesn't come now he's 19 and its just not for him anymore.
However I like going to sites with kids, I wish I still had one young enough, it's fun to see them having fun, and as long as they obey the rules like I taught my son, then I'd rather to to a family one than adults only. I've got nothing against adults only sites each to their own, but it's not something I'd want to do, I'm only 42 I'm still a big kid myself lol.

Adopt a rescue, rescue dogs make great pets, don't support puppy farms.
The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
Well said MickeyB!
Kids are great and most are well behaved. I don't mind people wanting adult only sites, but creating adult only areas in ' normal ' sites is a bit much in my view.
Some people need to remember those kids will be paying for their health service and state pension when they're older!

i think you will find that most OAPs have paid in all their lives for their pension and health service. The kids are paying for their own in the future (if they are working)

Thats fair comment but then you would also have a similar corral for parents who think its ok for kids to do what they want at all hours, including kicking balls at/off caravans and tents and I could go on as several posts have been published about this very subject.
I am like another poster, sites are too quiet without kids and the atmosphere it creates but there is a minority who should not be allowed out!

Why does everyboby think its alright to force oppinions on other people ?, if you dont want kids on your site go to an adults only, if you dont want dogs go to a dog free site. You know when you book what your booking so use your choice and book what suits you, commercial decisions will be made by the park owners and market forces will dictate which sites are viable or not. I love kids and enjoy seeing them play outside and not stuck indoors playing some computer games, I love my two spaniels and enjoy walking with them in new and interesting places,I also love my caravan and all that goes with it,please enjoy what you do and remember lifes too short not to enjoy it.
