Bought it two weeks ago and took it out last week for 5 nights. The three hour journey turned into just under five hours but we arrived safely which is the main thing! I struggled initially towing but then got used to it and forgot it was there, except for the fact I was only averaging 24mpg! So we get to site, all set up with electrics but nothing works, at least that's what I thought at first until I realised I hadn't turned the site main on to the 'van! Wondered why the water pump wasn't working, realised it was from the 12V supply and not 240V, fridge wasn't working but once I levelled the 'van it worked fine! All in all though, wonderful weather for the full week and now I have a much better idea what I need to do for the next time!

Ditto we were the same on our maiden voyage but it gets easier as you go glad you enjoyed your holiday.

24mpg what you towing wih, did you leave the handbrake on the caravan.??
As for the first outing blips, I still forget things now. All part of the challenge/adventure I think.
Sounds like you enjoyed your self though.

We were like that last weekend. So many daft things you do wrong the first time! We are off on the second trip tomorrow so hopefully we will be better at it this time.------------- It's summer again, caravan time! Hurrah!
