Does it not damage the caravan with screws
depends on the design, some van I would not want to do this, as the bit where the numberplate goes is the outer skin of the van.
Mine, however, its just a plastic trim at the back (if I look under the van, I can see the other side) so screw will cause no damage (other than the holes)
Hi Threepennybit. Where you screw the number plate to the van is designed to take the screws. OH also put some mastic behind the screws waterproofing it although the self tappers waterproof it anyway. Ours has the plastic trim at the back as described by timtheenchanter if that's any help.
velcro here too as we have 2 tow vehicles that can tow so swapping plates is easy, use to have the sprung metal clip types on our trailer but these need screwing on...

Hi iscacamper what do you think of your lunar caravan
Hi. We have been pleased with it, and had no major problems. The layout of ours (Chateau 400) has been ideal for us, as until recently we had our daughter sleeping in a travel cot between the front bench seats. Having said that, now that she's an energetic toddler we're thinking of changing to a bigger van with a bit more space next year.
