We've been camping for a few years and are seriously thinking of making the switch to caravanning. We're a family of four and at first we were very taken with the Eccles Sport. However, reading lots of reviews it is suggested that this suits a couple more than a family. We've therefore switched our thoughts more towards a 6 berth caravan.
We like the idea of a fixed bed but also love the thought of fixed bunk beds for the kids. Trouble is, I can't seem to find a model that caters for this. Can anyone please advise???
Our budget is up to £12,500 ish.
You can search on caravan finder by layout so maybe give there a try. it should let you know if there is such a layout, I'm not aware of fixed double and bunks but I'm no expert.
We have an Adria Sportline DT. fixed triple bunks. We have 3 children. Maybe the DK would suit you better, there are 2 fixed bunks in this one. The sportlines are dealer specials by venture caravans. The same layouts but not in dealer specials are called Adria Altea Taymar/Severn. 13k on the road brand new for the Altea models, 14k on the road Sportline models. Brand new. Both are 7.25m length and 6 berth good luck and keep us posted!
We are a family of 5 just gone from camping to a caravan and have just recently bought sterling eccles sport 585 , it was brand new so may be out of your price range :) for the extra few quid (5k) worth a look . I love it :)
