As the OP says, it's not a recent theft, but the offenders are still being sought.
In my opinion, the offenders are likely to be "working girls" who needed an "office" to conduct their business, and this beautiful van would be an ideal place for them to carry it out. It's probably being driven round €urope and parked up, not on sites but in the woods off a major road.

Three previously unknown women stolen on Wednesday, 6 March 2013 between 01.50 und 02.00 clock clock a caravan of brand X TABBERT Paganini 655 from a caravan at the Basel Fair Grounds Road 35 in Duggingen. The three women were filmed by a surveillance camera on the company premises.
