We have a bailey and have the same complaint, lucky for us they are only for sitting on as there are only us two and we use the fixed bed.

One of our long front seats started squeaking on our last trip, was driving me crackers (alright .... even more crackers!). OH was doing a minor repair in the van yesterday and I asked him to investigate. We couldnt find anything specific, just the plastic edgy bits rubbing against each other.  OH attacked it with an oil can and sort of worked it into the joints, seems fine now.  Its probably something really minor, just needs tightening up or lubricating!

When you have a really good look under the seats, they are so fragile its a wonder they dont collapse altogether!

think it is the wooden battens rubbing on the plastic trim, just rub a little olive oil along the top bit of plastic.

We sometimes get a squeak or too as well.  Fortunately, it's on a seat we don't use for sleeping.  It's obviously a common complaint - might it also depend on the weather and if the wood swells etc. ??!!

I've just solved my squeaky seats by unscrewing the screws and laying a bit of masking tape over the joints, also where the lift up bits up did the same, the tape acts as a very thin barrier between two pieces of wood, and rather than use oil that might smell if it goes off I used a bit of spray body oil, smells nicer too. No more squeaky seats in my Bailey ranger.

Squeaky floorboard treatment, is talcum powder - might work? I’ve seen it recommended for rubber door and window seals, to prevent sticking. I’d guess silicone spray would be effective too, and might avoid any oil stains.

Try rubbing a candle along joints/edges.
