Well i thought i seen it all over the years of camping and caravanning.Last week in the caravan in Anglesey at around 7pm there was a knock on my door i answered it it was a middle age lady asking me would i look at her toilet as she had a hole in it.Was a bit puzzled so i went to have a look and true to form there was a round hole i could put my little finger in it on side of the bowl.First question was how the hell you done that ommmm i was sitting on the toilet smoking and i put the fag end in it, it landed on side of the bowl and burn a hole in it.So i said i would give her some duck tape to put on it temporary till she got it fixed and made a quick exit.Gave her some tape sat down another knock on the door she is back again ask would someone mend it and how much would it cost answered no idea if not it would have to be a new toilet next question how much.I replied no idea but i would guess 500 pounds that spoilt her evening i pointed out i was no google brain, following morning she had a great idea of putting chewing gum in the hole omg this one take the biscuit

It wouldnt look great, but a bit of a plastic disc of sorts and resin glue would cure this if she wasnt bothered about appearances. And given where it is, whos going to see it apart from her.

Gross thought of cigarette smoke in a small caravan (or MH) washroom with no mechanical ventilation. Bet the walls are yellow with nicotine, which will run when the shower creates a steamy atmosphere.
Yuk. Just yuk.

It must have been an ongoing habit to do stub a fag out on the side of the toilet like that. All I can say is that she must do it at home on the ceramic bowl which obviously wouldn't cause any damage. Disgusting habit though to say the least as she obviously doesn't posses an ash tray.

im slightly puzzled as to how she managed to get her fag into the toilet while she was sat on it, best will in the world and even kids sized bum fills the seat

On a not-unrelated subject, how does a 'larger' person cope with a caravan loo? I know a Giant-Haystacks sized bloke who can only enter his MH by the drivers door. He has no chance of going through the hab door. For obvious reasons, i havent asked the question of him.

Use the loo on site, possibly the one for disabled people that will have a wider door & handles to help you get up off the seat. Though if he can squeeze between the driver’s & passenger’s seat (& possibly the handbrake) at the front to get to the MH to eat & sleep, I expect he can manage.
