We are off to ours early Saturday as OH is at work till late tomorrow. It's our first real weekend in it as last time we were just learning how to set it all up and we took all the bits and pieces e.g. Crockery, cutlery, TV etc. It's on a seasonal pitch in mid Wales.
I'm so excited! I hope you and everyone have a fab weekend, whether you're away or not. Weather forecast is good so that's a bonus!
As you haven't mentioned the destination I asume its Birmingham, so I'm not jealous. Go on make me jealous and tell me where you are going.....
Monty8 is the same so he must be going to Wolverhampton (great football ground but no hills to walk along)
Come on guys...why the secrecy?

------------- If you're not on a fell your wasting your feet and for 2014 it's.......Feb Castleton Mar North Yors Moors; Apr Sutton on Sea; May Thirsk; Jun Clapham/Riverside (Lakes); July Wharfedale; August Crakehall; Sept Knaresborough; Oct Wirral Park/Clitheroe
We're off to Settle, Yorkshire Dales tomorrow going to set off lunch time and this is first trip, first tow. Really looking forward to it (although with a few nerves) and weather forecast doesn't seem too bad either. Just been filling the van up hope it'll be ok. Awning on floor over axle, melamine crockery secured chairs on floor next to awning. Only thing at back is aqua roll and wast hog in shower and bottle of blue 'n' pink. Few bottles of beer and bottle of wine in fridge. Going to try get everything else in car.
------------- I went to the top of the mountain...and looked over the other side!
Head towards Clapham from Settle and at the sign to Clapham Station turn left and keep on that road, under the railway bridge and then up the hill on your right is Giffords farm, Have a look at that CL. Brilliant and worth noting for the future. All you can see from your caravan is Pen y Ghent to the right and Ingleborough to the left - straight ahead and there is often a steam train chugging along

Hi cwdc, firstly I am a Lady...yes I am, honest! Lol. And I did say that we were going to mid Wales. We ar near Devils Bridge which is 12 miles from Aberystwyth. Stunning views. Have a good one.
If you use any car parks in the Aberystwyth area make sure you comply strictly with the Ts and Cs, especially the Rheidol Retail Park car park managed by Parking Eye. That one has been designed in close proximity to a couple of roundabouts and which prevent you leaving the car park quickly. Many folk have been caught out with parking tickets for staying for more than 2 hours when in fact they parked for less than 2 hours but were stuck in queues for ages trying to get out.
I've just dealt with an appeal to POPLA (successfully) for a client over that car park, so be warned, Parking Eye are a bit keen. Don't want you to get home to find a claim for £100
