We have been caravanning a few years with 2 dogs and never encountered any problems. My wife has recently added a puppy to our collection. Does anyone go caravanning with more than 2 dogs. Do you encounter any problems with sites ?
Thanks
Me, although I have two dogs, I often foster, so if I have a foster that comes in at the time I'm going away, they come too. I've not personally encountered any issues with the CC but have done once with a private site, no big deal they just asked what dogs I had ect, and I paid the price for the dogs to come , I had heard the CC has a three dog and no more than that rule, but I'm not sure if it really exists as a friend of mine has four and they've never had any problems with CC sites.
It is no different really as having two, all normal rules apply, clean up after them, try to keep them quiet, and keep them on a lead, which as you know is just common sense and etiquette.
If in doubt though, give the site a ring before you book :)

Adopt a rescue, rescue dogs make great pets, don't support puppy farms.
The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
Yup, as Murano says, keep to your own rules of cleaning up and consideration for others. We have 3 Border Collies who have learnt how to behave on site and hopefully show responsible dog ownership! Not everyone loves our dogs (or yours) so we have to remember that.
Yes, we have four (did have five but lost one last year :( ) and although that sounds a lot, three are whippets and one is an eight inch high terrier lol!
Sometimes when I've really wanted to go to a particular site and they've stated maximum of two dogs on their website then I've rung and asked if they will accept four small dogs and only once have I been refused so it's always worth a try...
I'm so jealous. Nothing more exciting than having a new puppy!

Blimey, we only have one Westie and he is more than capable of prompting a "why does it smell of wet dog in here" comment from us humans. Having owned three very large and hairy German Shepherds at the same time in life before caravanning, I would hate to think what they might be like in the confines of our caravan! Saying that, dog ownership and caravans go very nicely together, all that space and walks... a great life.
With four dogs in the van, where do the people sleep? Any space that is left I would think!! :)
At the site we visit every year for the last 12 years they never say anything about the number of dogs people bring the even hold a rally in August for Newfoundland dogs and its great as long as people respect the rules and keep things clean and they always do.Ian
